If you're getting married at Allington Manor, congratulations-it's one of my favourite Lincolnshire wedding venues. I've worked with couples celebrating there and understand how the evening flows, from the wedding breakfast through to the last dance.

My aim isn't simply to play music. I help create an evening that feels effortless, keeping your dance floor full while fitting seamlessly around your venue's schedule.

Sample Timeline at Allington Manor

  • 6pm - Setup

    I will arrive at 6pm to begin setting up. Setup is carried out with very little distraction to you and your guests, meaning you can relax and enjoy the flow of your evening.

  • 7pm - Background Music

    You may decide at this point to have some background music playing to ease into the evening gently. If you are in the marquee to the back of the venue, then you can ask me for an additional speaker to be wired through to the marquee.

  • 8pm - First Dance

    Your guests will gather in the main dance room, and watch as you take to the dancefloor together for the first time as a wedded couple. It’s entirely up to you if you wish for your guests to join you at any point - just let me know!

  • 8.05pm - Dancefloor Opens

    This is it - the dancefloor is open and it’s time for you and your guests to let your hair down and enjoy the evening. It’s usually custom at this time to have a certified party starter song that you know will have your dancefloor bouncing from the get go!

  • 10.50pm - Last Dance / Last Songs

    Some couples choose to have a last dance at this stage, others may decide to have a perfect song or two to end their evening. Either way, this is a special moment bringing you and all your guests together to see off the best day of your life!

  • 11pm - Finish

    Allington Manor’s curfew is 11pm for music so I usually like to end the music at 10.55pm and if you or your guests are calling out for that “one more song!”, then I have time to play this without running over or disappointing you! All of this will be discussed with you in your planning portal and pre-event video calls.
